Sat dedicates newly installed transformer to people

JAMMU, Jan 19: To provide better power services in areas of Jammu West, former State president BJP and ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated new transformer installed at Ahinsa Vihar at Ward 32 (Talab Tillo) area of Jammu West Assembly Segment today.
Accompanied by PDD officials, Sharma inaugurated the transformer in the presence of a large number of people including district president, BJP, Ayodhya Gupta ,Ward 32 Corporator, Sat Pal Karlupia, inhabitants of the Ward and political activists of the area.
The works for installation of transformers were taken up under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) scheme of former MLA Jammu West in order to carry on works for setting up Sub Stations in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a long pending demand of the area as residents suffered from acute shortage of electricity and low voltage and many times electrical appliances installed at residents of public damaged due to short circuit and the people were put to problems. He said transformers bearing capacity of 250 KVA have been installed in the area.
He said that the problems of fluctuation will not be there anymore now and no unscheduled cuts will take place in these areas. He stated that the power crisis from majority of the areas in Jammu West have been solved.
Ayodhya Gupta district president Jammu West also spoke on the occasion.
