JAMMU, Jan 19: Reaching out to inhabitants of Jammu West Assembly segment in order to provide them best possible infra, Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma inaugurated and dedicated newly constructed lane to inhabitants of  Patta Chungi, Ward 41.
Sharma was accompanied by Corporator Ward 41 Sanjay Baru, District President Munish Khajuria, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Jammu Municipal Corporation officials and many others including inhabitants of ward, social and political activists of the area.
The works were done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 6 lakhs and the funds were sanctioned on the recommendation of Former MLA by JMC. Pertinent to mention, the local Corporator along with many inhabitants met the Former MLA some time back regarding the same issue.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Jammu West has progressed a lot towards development and in nearly last five years, the infrastructural development pertaining to roads, setting up of new transformers, replacing old water pipes with fresh ones in whole Constituency, construction of community halls, up gradation works of cremation grounds, construction of lanes and drains and other works were kept on priority in all 26 wards of Jammu West and it is the result of same that crores of Rupees were spent in each and every ward of Assembly segment which has led to a big change towards modernization of Constituency in every aspect.
Baru appreciated the efforts of Former MLA and stated that crores of rupees were spent on developmental works in the Ward on the recommendation of Former MLA which improved the scenario of Roads, Water supply, Power supply, Sanitation and many other things which has helped a lot in making Ward 41 a clean ward.
Munish Khajuria stated that due to efforts of Former MLA no ward of Jammu West is left behind in terms of development and wherever necessary, concerned departments are asked to redress public grievances at the earliest so that a proper infra and services could be provided to the public.
Keshav appealed to the masses to promote “Swach Bharat” vision of Prime Minister and asked them to contribute some of their time to fulfill this noble cause so that we can keep our aura “Clean and Green”.
AEE JMC Vinay Arora, Deen Dyal Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Dr KA Suri, Jaideep Sambyal, Vikram Singh, Puneet Mahajan, Jatin Sethi, Vinod Wazir, Bodh Raj, Jagjeet Singh, Atul Chopra, Balwinder Singh, Rajesh Saini, Bubesh Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Naresh Guptam Yash Pal shivgotra, Sham Lal, Narinder Biri, Daleep Mithas and several others were also present.
