Sat chairs meeting of Sarwal Hospital Development Board

JAMMU, Dec 14: To take stock of the upcoming works to be done for the welfare of patients and attendants in Government Hospital Sarwal, an emergency meeting of the Hospital Development Board was held in the Hospital premises today which were chaired by State president BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA). Officials including Medical Superintendent and concerning in charge of various other departments of the Hospital were also present in the meeting.
In a statement issued here later, Sat Sharma (CA) said that a fruitful meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti took place in which a discussion pertaining to the starting of upcoming developmental works in Government Hospital Sarwal was held so that in coming times the patients coming from various parts of the city and outside should not face any problems.
He stated that provisions have been made for various necessary upcoming works in the hospital including installation of 16 new cameras inside the hospital complex, three additional computers for taking up the extra works of the Hospital, furniture for the conference room, repairing of dental chairs and other necessary equipments in the Hospital and other items required in emergency to the authority.
The MLA also sanctioned an Eco Ambulance Van at the cost of Rs 3.67 lakh and sanctioned the money to the hospital from his CDF scheme. The BJP leader also stated that the works for construction of a new blood bank have also been approved by the Department and soon a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will also be prepared concerning the same.
The MLA also stressed upon cleanliness in the Hospital premises so that “Swach Bharat Abhiyaan” could be promoted. He said that the prime concern will be keeping the Hospital sections warm in winter season so that patients along with attendants should not face any problem in the winters.
Dr Renu Sharma Medical Superintendent Sarwal, Hospital, Dr Deepak Sharma Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr Kamal Kishore, Dr Robinder Khajuria, district president BJP Ayodhya Gupta, Ashwani Sharma SHO Bakshi Nagar Police Station and several others were also present.
