JAMMU, Mar 1: Sat Sharma, former BJP president and former Minister, along with Ashwani Sharma, former MLA, and Sanjay Baru, Urban Local Bodies Cell in charge, J&K BJP listened to the public grievances at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today,.
During the camp, people from different parts of Jammu & Kashmir visited the party office in the form of deputations to represent the issues of their respective areas as well as their individual concerns before the senior party leadership.
Main issues presented were related to the installation of electric poles, streetlights, repair of lanes/ roads, job issues etc. A deputation raised issue of a playground at Arnia. Another deputation requested for road construction from Chadwal to Mangloor, while another requested for road construction in Bande Hazi Hajoor, Poonch.
Sat Sharma reiterated the party’s commitment to resolve the public issues at the earliest. He said that the Modi Government believes in the holistic development of the society and country. To ensure this goal the party is organizing these grievances camps to augment the effort, he added.
Ashwani Sharma said that going by the spirit to serve the masses, the party leaders have tried sincerely to provide them the best possible solutions.
Sanjay Baru stated that many of the issues presented today were solved on the spot whereas other issues are impressed for their early solutions.
Listening to the various issues represented by the deputations, BJP leaders telephonically talked to the concerned departmental officials and issued letters for the others after which he assured them that their issues would be addressed soon.
