Sat, Angral kick start renovation of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park

JAMMU, Mar 18: Former Cabinet Minister and ex BJP State president, Sat Pal Sharma along with former Chairman, Social Justice Standing Committee and Corporator W.No 12, Jeet Kumar Angral started the renovation and upgradtion work of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park at Krishna Nagar Ward No. 12 with an estimated cost of Rs 25 lac.
Sat Sharma while addressing gathering on the occasion said that this park was built long ago and was not in a good condition. It was a long pending demand of the residents of the Ward to renovate and upgrade the park. He appreciated the former chairman for the commendable work that he did by getting Rs 25 lac approved from Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and also seeking funds from other departments for the development of the Ward.
Former Chairman Jeet Kumar Angral complimented the former Minister for gracing the occasion with his presence and said that this construction has been approved with an estimated cost of Rs 25 lac in which all the gates of the park will be changed, lights will be installed, new soil will be laid for grass with iron grating protection for flower beds, whitewashing of the park walls and a room which was in the park will be shifted so that more space can be made available for the public. He also complimented the officials of JMC for taking heed of the situation. He said that he and Ward party members are working together with dedication and their goal is to make Ward No.12 a modern Ward of Jammu city.
On the occasion JMC officials AEE, Vijay Gupta, Junior Engineer along with other prominent people including district president BJP Jammu West, Munish Khajuria, Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, Ayodhya Gupta, State publicity secretary, Krishan Kumar Digra State president, BJPSCM , Surjit Singh Chib, Kundal Lal Gupta, Akshay Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Labha Ram, Anil Angral, Tarun, Rahul Samyal, Supervisor, Piyush Raj Sharma and Madan Lal, were also present.
