JAMMU, Sept 17: Chairman, Children Welfare Society, Gurdeep Singh Sasan today held a relief camp at Housing Colony, Udhampur and distributed cotton quilts among the flood victims.
The camp was held on the demand of NC leader of Udhampur, Sunil Verma. Speaking on the occasion, Sasan assured the flood victims that NC is committed to mitigate the sufferings of the people.
He also appreciated the united efforts of Defence forces and civil administration in rescuing the sufferers and providing all possible help to the affected people of the State.
Sasan along with other leaders paid homage to the departed souls by observing two minutes silence and prayed for the speedy recovery of the sufferers.
He also appealed other people to come forward and generously donate for flood affected people.
