Sarthal-Ghan Road through for vehicular movement

JAMMU, Sept 25: The six-kilometer long Sarthal-Ghan Road leading to native village of MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, which was constructed by Roads and Building (R&B) Department at an estimated cost of Rs 4 crore was made open today for vehicular movement by senior Congress leader and Sarpanch of the area, Mohammad Aslam Saroori.
The said road was completed two months ago but it was closed due to sinking of road patch and continuous landslides zone in KM 24 (RD 425-600), after working day and night the department today opened the road for the vehicular movement.
While addressing the gatherings on the occasion, Mohd Aslam, said road connectivity is priority of MLA Inderwal and he is committed to connect every part of Sarthal through a viable network.
He further said that Sarthal-Ghan Road would ensure socio-economic development of the area, besides accelerating pace of development in other spheres of life.
