MENDHAR, May 25: Sarpanchs and Panchs from various villages in tehsil Mendhar held protest demonstration at Shahidi Yadgar here against the Government for not releasing funds for various schemes under Rural development.
Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area assembled at the main chowk in the town here the other day and raised slogans against the RDD authorities for not clearing pending payments of the workers under MGNREGA for the last more than one year. Not only this, the funds under various other schemes were not released even during the closer of last financial year.
Later, they met the SDM Mendhar Dr Ramesh Kumar and submitted a memorandum to him for the Government demanding release of pending funds under various schemes
