NEW DELHI, June 29: Saria prices strengthened by Rs 100 per tonne on the local steel market today on increased offtake by stockists.
Traders said increased offtake by stockists following an upswing in constructions activity, helped saria prices to rise.
In the saria segment, 8-mm, 10-mm, 12-mm,and 16-25mm traded Rs 100 each higher at Rs 48,900,Rs 47,400, Rs 46,400 and Rs 47,000 per tonne, respectively.
The following are today’s quotations per tonne:
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 48,900, 10-mm 47,400, 12-mm 46,400, 16-25 mm 47,000.
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,400, 10 mm 45,100, 12-mm 44,400, 16-25 mm 44,700.
Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 45,400, 10-mm 43,100, 12-mm 42,100, 16-25 mm 42,600.
MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) 42,000, (40×5) (40×6) 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40×6) 43,800, (35X5) (65X6) 33,900. Girder 125X65 39,300. (PTI)
