LOS ANGELES, July 30: Actress Sarah Hyland believes she along with another “Modern Family” stars supported fellow actor Ariel Winter deal with her body image issues like a real sibling.
The 26-year-old actress, who plays elder sister Hailey to Winter’s Alex in the Emmy-winning comedy, says she tried to set a good example for her onscreen younger sister, reported People magazine.
“I like to think we — me, Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara — helped her be confident with her body and herself.
“I mean, she was 11-years-old when I met her. I was 18. I tried to be a good role model for her, and a true older sister for her because she’s such a sweet little girl,” says Hyland.
Winter recently faced backlash on social media for her posts by body-shaming trolls, to which she gave it back in her own way. (PTI)
