JAMMU, July 14: Sanskar Bharti, an organization for art and literature, today organized a programme on Dogri folk literature here at KL Saigal Hall.
Dr Krishan Lal, MLA Chhamb, was the chief guest on the occasion while Prof Archana Kesar presided over the programme.
On the occasion, various speakers presented their papers through which they threw light on Duggar civilization.
Dr Aruna Sharma presented paper on ‘Vivah Sambandhi Lokgeet’, Dr Neelam Sareen on ‘Duggar ke kuch vrit Tuahaar’, Dr Sushma Rani on ‘Rutat Raaden— Ek Nivachen’ and Yashpal Nirmal on ‘Dogri Lok Kathain Tatha Un Per Shodh Karya’.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by Puran Chand Sharma, general secretary, Sanskar Bharti. Ameeta Mehta conducted the proceedings of the programme while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr Kuldeep Sharma.
