REASI, Jan 19: A meeting of Sangram Sena (SS) was held under the chairmanship of its president, Ram Rattan Raina, today.
The main objective of the meeting was to protect the ancient Fort of late General Zorawar Singh. The members highlighted the condition of the Fort which required immediate attention and preservation of the old monument, to attract the tourism and an education for new generation about the war heroes of the State.
The meeting has taken a decision to meet Divisional Commissioner, Jammu in this regard and also to approach Archaeology Department for maintenance and renovation of the Fort.
During the meeting, Baby Raja was elected as president, Sangram Sena of Reasi unit. Others present in the meeting were Mohan Lal Sharma, Raju Puri, Gugal Khan, Suraj Singh, Capt Rattan Singh Langeh and Narinder Kumar.
