Sangam Theatre stages ‘Par Hame Khelna Hai’

BHADERWAH, June 30: Sangam Theatre, Reasi staged a Hindi play “Par Hame Khelna Hai” organised by 4 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) at TRC Dendi.
Major General AK Singh, General Commanding Officer, Delta Force, Naresh Kumar Gupta, MLC, Ashkoor Wani, DIG, Brigadier AN Jha, Commander 4 Sector RR, Youdhvir Singh, Second IC, intellectuals, artists and citizens witnessed the play.
The play was written by Shirang Godbole and directed by Mohammad Khan.
The story of the play was based on communal harmony. A group of multi-religion children hailing from urban families were going to the school.
On the day, the city was rocked with a bomb blast in which lots of people were killed and injured, which lead to the communal rites.
After that, feeling of suspicion and mistrust was formed between the number of communities and the parents started shifting their children from cosmopolitan schools to the safer schools having a communal identity.
Children resisted their separation on religious grounds as they have not lost the trust on each other.
Children decision leads to wide change in their elders, who ultimately decided to refrain from fighting and remain together.
The artists, who performed in the play were Suraj Narayan, Akram Khan, Mushtaq Ali, Mohan Mistri, Barkha Thakur, Anam Khan, Rekha Rajput, Rohit Verma, Kunal Salotra, Raja Aamir Khan, Amit Pandita, Dolly, Alka, Ridham Bharti and Veena.
