Leh, Dec 13: A meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Commissioner/ Finance Secretary Ladakh, Rigzin Samphel regarding the special development package given to Leh and Kargil districts under 2019-20 Capex Budget at DC conference hall, here today.
During the meeting, Samphel informed the HoDs of all the Government departments of both Leh and Kargil districts regarding the release of Special Development Package under the 2019-20 Capex Budget. He added that under state budget the details have not been provided, thus directed all the HoDs to send their Nodal Officers to Jammu Secretariat to get item wise detail information, revenue break-ups and figures. He stressed on the need for availability of budget related data and urged the officers to pursue with Finance Department in Jammu to get their sanctioned funds released under special development package on time.
Samphel set the time line of Dec 18 for the Nodal Officers to submit the budget data of their respective departments collected from Jammu. He said that once the data is compiled the processes will move further in UT Ladakh. He spoke about that object heads defined in three categories of major works, motor vehicles and machine & equipments.
ADDC, Leh Moses Kunzang, Director RDD and Finance, Tahir Hussain and HoDs of Leh districts attended the meeting.
