JAMMU, Jan 18: Samooh Theatre won 9 awards in 16th Rang Mahotsav held at Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
Samooh Theatre’s team led by Ravinder Sharma participated in 16th Rang Mahotsav and presented Dr. Gian’s Singh Dogri Play ‘Bawa Jitmal’, which was highly appreciated and applauded by the audience on the occasion.
37 teams drawn from all over the India participated and performed in the event.
The team of Samooh Theatre got 9 awards in different categories, which included 3rd Best Production, 3rd Best Director (Ravinder Sharma), 3rd Best Actor (Sandeep Manhas), Best Female Actor (Aashima Dutta), 2nd Best Music (Surinder Manhas), Best Make-up (Shubam Singh Nag and Yeshvinder Bali), Best Costume (Ravinder Sharma), Best Theatre March team, Best Group Leader (Ravinder Sharma).
A number of Television and Bhojpuri Cinema actors like CP Bhat, Manoj Tiger and Monalisa were present on the occasion.
Dr Ajiz Hajini, Secretary, JKAACL today interacted win the winners of galaxy of awards in the mega event.
