JAMMU, Apr 5: With the aim to promote theatre art and the artists Samooh Theatre and Society for Environment, education and modern art are jointly going to organize a three day one act play competition w.e.f April 17 to 19, 2015 at K. L Saigal Hall, Cultural Academy, Jammu.
Entry fee of Rs 300/ along with the synopsis of the play and director note has also been invited from the groups of the Jammu region.
Various awards including best production Rs 5,000/ 2nd best production Rs 3,000/ and third best play Rs 2,000/ besides best and 2nd Actor, actress Rs 1000/, 500/ along with the participation certificates to all the participants. The duration of the play has been kept 30 minutes while any play which will fall under duration shall be disqualified. However solo play by one actor shall also be entertained in the same duration. The prizes and award shall be nominated by the Jury members.
