SAMBA, Feb 1: Samba police worked out on a theft case of cattle registered at Police Station (PS), Samba and recovered stolen cattle.
A case FIR NO. 14/2022 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered at PS Samba regarding theft of five cattle (one Buffalo and four Cows) during the intervening night of January 30 and 31 this year from the house of MohinderLal son of KrishanLal, Manohar Lal son of Nasib Chand, Karan Singh son of Jaimal Singh and Hans Raj, son of Thoru Ram.
All residents of Channi Jassu, tehsil and district Samba.
Taking cognizance into the matter, SSP Samba, Abhishek Mahajan, constituted a special team under the supervision of Dy SP Headquarters, Samba to work out the cattle theft case at the earliest.
During the course of investigation, actionable lead was developed and two suspects were rounded up by in charge Police Post (PP), Rakh Amb Talli. On their disclosure, recovery of all five cattle were made and handed over to their respective owners in presence of respectable persons of village Balori and Kangwala.
