SAMBA, May 13: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized three vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba and in charges of Police Posts (PPs) Rakh Amb Talli and Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas have seized two dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK21G-9091, JK14C-7505 and a tractor trolley without Number which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
