SAMBA, Feb 22: Samba police today reunited a missing boy from the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Ramgarh with his family within 16 hours after his missing.
Police said a written complaint was received at PS Ramgarh by one person, a resident of Swankha, Ramgarh regarding missing of his 14 years old son from his residence who had gone to market but didn’t return. All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of missing boy could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report was lodged vide DD No. 04 dated 22.02.2021 at PS Ramgarh and search started to trace out the said missing boy.
With continuous and strenuous efforts, a police team of PS Ramgarh traced out the missing boy from Jakh area within 16 hours and handed over him to his legal heirs after completing the formalities. Accordingly, the missing report has been closed.
