SAMBA, May 15: Samba police has foiled bovine smuggling bid in the jurisdiction of P/S Ghagwal by rescuing 11 bovines.
Acting on reliable information received at P/S Ghagwal about smuggling of bovines by foot via Border road toward Kashmir, a Police party of PP Rajpura headed by SI Karnail Singh, I/C PP Rajpura under the supervision of Inspector, Rajeev Kumar, SHO P/S Ghagwal & Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Headquarters, Samba laid special Naka at Malani and rescued 11 bovines which were being smuggled by foot.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 45/2019 U/S 188/295 (A) RPC 2/3 PC Act registered at P/S Ghagwal and further investigation is going on.
