SAMBA, Apr 10: Acting swiftly Samba police recovered a stolen cow within 24 hours and arrested two thieves in this connection.
According to police one lady Anuradha W/o Karam Chand R/o Jatwal came to PS Ghagwal and made a complaint that her milch cow has been stolen by some unknown person from her cattle shed.
Acting swiftly on this complaint and as a part of continuous drive against the anti social elements, District Police Samba on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Anil Magotra, a police party of PS Ghagwal headed by SHO Ghagwal swung into action and recovered the milch cow from the possessions of the accused persons namely Yaqoob Ali, S/o Abdul Majid R/o Kothey tehsil and district Samba, Niaz Hussain S/o Mushtaq Ahmed R/o Jatwal tehsil Ghagwal Distt, Samba. Police arrested both of them and a case FIR No. 38/2017 U/S 379 RPC stands registered in this regard at PS Ghagwal.
