SAMBA, Mar 29: In its continuous drive against the illegal trafficking of bovine animals, a Police Party of Police Station Ghagwal headed by Inspector Bharat Sharma SHO P/S Ghagwal under the supervision of V.P Singh, DySP (HQ) Samba intercepted and seized one truck bearing Registration No. JK02AK-2469 during surprise naka checking on NH at Ghagwal late last night.
The vehicles were found loaded with 12 bovine animals which were being transported illegally without permission from Kathua towards Jammu.
A case FIR No. 214/2014 U/S 188 RPC, 2/3 PC Act, 184/207 MV Act P/S Ghagwal has been registered for further investigation.
