SAMBA, Apr 3: In a continuous drive against the drug menace District Special Branch Samba in collaboration with Police Party of P/S Samba led by SHO P/S Samba, Yashpal Singh Jamwal under the supervision of Tanveer Ahmed, Dy.SP Hqr. Samba and over all supervision of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba laid a Naka at Sumb road, Samba and intercepted one person namely Kunal S/o Rakesh Kumar R/o Bantalab Samba.
During his search 40 grams of Ganja was recovered from his possession. The Ganja was seized and accused person has been arrested. In this regard a case FIR No. 68/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at P/S Samba against the accused person. Investigation of the case is going on.
Meanwhile Police on an information arrested one Nirmal Singh S/o Fauja Singh R/o Koulpur Tehsil Ramgarh and recovered 119 capsules of SPM-PRX from him.. The vehicle Indica car bearing registration No. JK02X/1326 being used by the drug peddler has also been seized.
In this regard FIR No. 42/2017 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act was registered at Vijaypur Police Station. The arrest was effected by the team of P/S Vijaypur headed by Inspector Suraj Pathania under the immediate supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Abhisheik Sharma, and on the overall supervision and command of SSP Samba Anil Magotra,.
