SRINAGAR, May 2: On the instructions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, the District Development Commissioner, Srinagar conducted surprise inspection of the Directorate of Agriculture Department today and found 63 employees unauthorizedly late/absent from duty.
Accordingly orders have been passed to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers and concerned Treasury Officers to stop the salary of the employees.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir has instructed that all the officers and officials to adhere strictly to office timings and ensure punctuality in the Government offices so that public at large will not face any difficulty.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir has further said that such inspections will be conducted on regular basis.
Meanwhile, five officials of School Education Department were put under suspension with immediate effect by Director School Education Kashmir, (DSEK), Tariq Ali Mir for negligence of duty and providing wrong information.
The Zonal Education Officer, Gurez (Ex-ZEO Narbal), Zonal Education Officer, Hardapanzoo, Budgam, Headmaster Boys High School, Sail, Beerwah, Sr. Assistant Boys High School, Magam, Budgam and Incharge office High School Sail, Beerwah were put under suspension, because of their negligent attitude and also for furnishing wrong information.
As many as, 14 Teachers and Masters of Anantnag, Budgam, Baramulla, Shopian and Pulwama have also been served show cause notice for failing to attend training courses at Delhi and other places. The Teachers and Masters have been asked to explain their position within a week’s time, otherwise action under rules shall follow.
