SRINAGAR, Dec 5: Army said the children of Sainik School Manasbal today returned from various capacity building tours which were organized by the Force.
A defence spokesman said the children were unanimous in expressing their delight at this lifetime experience which they said would certainly help them in shaping their future better. “They were full of stories of sheer joy, immense education and wholesome entertainment which they said were the hallmark of their stint in other parts of the country,” the spokesman said.
He said the students who were on tour visited IMA Dehradun, Shimla and NDA Pune respectively. “The tours were flagged in by Victor Force Commander, Major Gen Arvind Dutta in the presence of other dignitaries. In his opening address he appreciated the efforts made civil Administration and participants in making the three tours a huge success.
The spokesman said that the certificates were also handed over to local youth who had successfully completed a course in hospitality sector conducted by the Army under ‘Mission 100 programme’.
“The Victor Force Commander also brought out the efforts put in by Army for empowering the local youth for assured employment under the Mission-100 programme,” he said.
