UDHAMPUR, Dec 5: Police today arrested a bootlegger in Roun Domail area and seized 65 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
Reports said that Roun Domail Police Post got some information regarding the smuggling of liquor in the area. Acting swiftly, PP Incharge, Anil Kumar laid a naka on Udhampur- Roun Domail Dhar road and intercepted the accused, who was illegally carrying 65 pouches of liquor. Police seized the smuggled liquor and arrested the youth on spot. A case has also been registered in this regard.
Identity of the accused was established as Som Raj of Roun Domail Udhampur.
