Sahitya Akademi organizes Gramalok program

JAMMU, July 10: Gramalok program was organized on behalf of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi in the remote village of Dori Dager in district Jammu.
Famous poets and litterateurs of Dogri language participated in this program. Yashpal Nirmal, senior poet, litterateur and critic of Dogri presided over this program. He said that literary programs organized by Sahitya Akademi would create awareness and inspire new writers towards literature.
The chief guest of the program was Bhushan Baral, a member of the District Development Council of Bhalwal Brahmin. He said that we should encourage young writers and poets as these people are striving for the upliftment of our language and literature.
In this program, Rajendra Ranjha Member, Dogri Paramarsh Mandal Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi presented welcome address and introductory remarks.
The poets, who participated in this program, included Joginder Pal Jinder, Harbans Lal Harsh, Vicky Sharma, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Ranveer Chib, Rajinder Ranjha, Yash Pal Nirmal, Roshan Baral Roshan, Master Vijay Sharma, Master Madan Lal, Master Ramesh Sharma and others. Sarpanch Dager, Baliram was the special guest.
