SAMBA, July 8: The heaps of garbage are lying in the lanes and by lanes of Vijaypur as Safai Karamcharis are on strike in protest against non payment of their wages for last five months by Vijaypur Municipal Committee.
The strike by Safai Karamcharis has added to the woes of the people as total insanitation prevails in the town with garbage heaps lying scattered in each and every lane and by lane emitting a foul smell.
