SAMBA, Jan 12: About three dozen Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana under the banner Akhil Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (ABMS) staged a protest dharna in front of Municipal Committee Office, Bari Brahmana today.
The demonstration was led by the local president of the Sangh namely Kali. The workers were demanding their regularisation. They said though they have been working as daily wagers for over last seven years the concerned authorities failed to issue their regularisation orders.
They warned to continue the protest till their demand of regularisation is met as they can’t tolerate the injustice for long.
