KATHUA, Dec 17: Safai Karamcharis Union sat on dharna in front of Municipal Council Kathua demanding release of their pending wages.
The dharna was led by Sawan Chida president of the Union. The protestors raised slogans in support of their demands and demanded immediate release of salaries.
Chida said the Municipal authorities were threatening them instead of releasing the wages which is an injustice to them.
He said as the Merry Christmas is near but the Safai Karamchairs have no money to celebrate the same. The Municipal employees are on strike for last two days.
