BANDIPORA , July 20: A deputation of Sadunara headed by Haji Bashir Ahmad Dar, chairman Civil Society, Sadunara met Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed here, today and discussed various issues of the area with him.
The delegation appealed the DC Bandipora to visit the area to have at and on spot study of the development works under construction in the area.
The delegation expressed its satisfaction over the keen interest shown by the present Government including district administration in development of this hitherto neglected and backward area falling on the bank of world famous Wullar lake. It expressed the hope that the Government will also take up the pending development works in hand in the area at an earliest.
The conducting of Block Divas programme in Sadunara village on July 22 was also discussed with DC.
The works being executed by Jal Shakti Department.
Sports Council and other departments were also discussed in detail during the meeting.
The delegation expressed the hope that the genuine demands will be settled by District administration on spot particularly the medical facilities including sanctioning of hospital building in the area. Sarpanch Abdul Majid Khoja Sarpanch Niyaz Ahmed Sheikh and Altaf Ahmed Wagay were the other members of the delegation.
