Sadhotra new Deputy Director General NCC

JAMMU, June 30: Brigadier Raghu Vir Sadhotra, one of the senior most officers in Army hailing from Udhampur has been posted as new Deputy Director General NCC J&K.
He did his schooling from Sainik School Nagrota and is an alumni of National Defence Academy who got commissioned in 1985 from IMA Dehradun.
He commanded the Battalion in active counter insurgency area of J&K during thick of militancy. He held various important and prestigious appointments in Army.
Before assuming the present appointment, he was heading Logistics Team of Ladakh region, which is most challenging and prestigious assignment for any Army Officer.
He has participated in operations Vijay and Parakarm. He is good sportsman, outstanding hockey player and bright NCC cadet during school days.
He is Gold medalist in Human Rights in post graduation from Mumbai University.
