THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar today joined millions of people in the ‘Run Kerala Run,’ a mass running event organised across the state as a prelude to the 35th National Games beginning on January 31. Kerala Governor, Chief Justice (Rtd) P Sathasivam flagged off the main run in front of the State Secretariat led by Tendulkar, the Goodwill Ambassador of the Game. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Sports Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, several cabinet ministers, MLAs and socio-cultural personalities participated in the run. ‘I am really surprised at the response of the people to the mass run,’ Tendulkar told a gathering at the Central Stadium where the mass run concluded.
