KATHUA, June 7: BJP national general secretary (org), Ram Lal today said that Army has been given the free hand to deal with any eventuality and misadventure from across the country on borders to protect the national unity and integrity.
The BJP leader, who is on three days tour of Jammu Province in connection with party’s various programmes framed at national level in connection with centenary year celebrations of former president of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadayay today toured Billawar and Kathua tehsils.
He said for a BJP activist right from booth level to party president the nation is first and there is no compromise on the same. He said all the policies and progrmmes framed by the present BJP Government at Centre led by Narendara Modi are focused on this formula.
He was addressing a meeting of the Party Vistarks and other leaders at Billawar.
Ram Lal said that a new change has come in the country at all levels after the Narendra Modi Government came to power in 2014 and India has created its place in the comity of nations. “We are marching ahead in all fields”, he added.
He while paying glowing tributes to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadayay said that family, society and nation as well as entire globe should be taken together for the prosperity of mankind and hence the basis of Modii Government is Sabka Sath -Sabka Vikas which is based on Deen Dayal Upadayay’s formula and the policies and programmes by BJP Government during the last three years have been framed on the same principle.
Soon after his arrival at Billawar he visited Mandli and held the booth committees meeting there. Later he launched a door to door campaign, held booth Samelan as well as Vistarks meet and highlighted the policies and programmes initiated for public welfare by Modi Government.
In the evening the BJP national leader visited Kathua and held the meeting of incharges of eight Mandals there. He took a complete feed back from them on organizational matters and functioning of the State Government as well. Later he also held a meeting with prabharis of Pradesh Morchas and discussed organizational matters as well as prevailing situation in the State and functioning coalition Government. The meeting was also attended by BJP State president, Sat Sharma, party organizational general secretary Ashok Kaul and general secretary, Dr Narinder Singh.
Tomorrow Ram Lal will hold meetings with Vistarks at Khrot in Kathua district and later visit Vijaypur in Samba district where he will also hold meetings with senior party leaders of the State.
The BJP national general secretary after holding number of meetings on June 9 will later leave for Union Capital. At Billawar he was accompanied by BJP general secretaries, Dr Narinder Singh and Pawan Khajuria.
