JAMMU, Feb 11: SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today hosted an engaging workshop aimed at aspiring IAS and JKAS candidates.
Led by Suchiter Sharma, a former SR College student who successfully cleared the UPSC examination, the session provided invaluable insights into the journey towards Civil Services.
Suchiter recounted his own path, from initial interest to triumph, highlighting the support he received from SR College. Topics ranged from exam syllabi and study materials to effective strategies for tackling different sections, including current affairs, exam patterns, and the nuances of Prelims and Mains.
Participants gained practical advice on handling previous years’ papers, CSAT, essays, and the ethics section. Suchiter stressed the significance of coaching, test series participation, and consistent answer writing practice.
Drawing from his personal experience with the UPSC interview, Suchiter inspired confidence among attendees. The workshop garnered enthusiastic feedback, underscoring SR College’s commitment to fostering such enriching interactions.
Looking ahead, SR College aims to continue organizing similar workshops and has introduced comprehensive test series to further aid aspirants in their preparation for JKAS and UPSC examinations, said a hand, issued by SRCC.
