JAMMU, Oct 8: In connection with observance of its foundation day which falls on Vijay Dashmi, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activists took out  route march in different parts of Jammu region today.
Dressed in white shirt and  khaki pant with black cap over the head, the RSS volunteers took out route march (path Sanchalan) in different parts of Jammu region today on drums beats and singing patriotic songs to imbibe the spirit of patriotism among the masses enroute.
The senior RSS leaders delivered speeches (Ganvesh) during the Path Sanchalan highlighting the role of great leaders of Sangh right from its founder Sar Sangchalak Dr Hedgewar, Guru Golwalkar and others.
They said the Sangh was founded on Viajy Dashmi in 1925 by Dr Hedgewar to unite the people of the country and imbibe the spirit of patriotism and selfless service among them so that India can become the Vishaw Guru.

They said that for Sangh nothing is more sacred and supreme than nation and a Sanghj activists surrenders every thing for the cause of his motherland, serves it selflessly till his last breath. “A true Swayamsevak expects nothing for himself but never hesitates in giving a supreme sacrifice for his motherland”, they added.
They said Sangh is wedded to national cause and its ultimate goal is to make India the Vishaw Guru by restoring its pristine glory.
Cautioning the people against the vested elements and forces inimical to national cause especially the neighbouring country which is involved in a proxy war in J&K for last 28 years now they stressed on unity among the masses by acting as a watch dog against such forces to defeat their vicious designs.
In Jammu city one route march was jointly taken out by Raghunath Nagar and Dogra Nagar from Old City while another route march was taken out by Vivekanadna Nagar from Paloura, Rajpoura and Shakti Nagar. Third route march was taken out in full dress by RSS volunteers of Trikuta Nagar from Chani.
To celebrate its Foundation Day and to aware the border people about the role of Army and security forces in guarding the borders, a route march  was taken out by RSS activists  in the border town of RS Pura.
The procession started from ancient Devi Dwara Mandir Main Bazaar, R S Pura and after passing through different locations of the town including Old Bazaar, Tehsil Baazar, Shiv Nagar Chowk, Shaheed Devendra Sharma Chowk, Bus Stand, Shaheed Daljeet Singh Chowk, Munsiffs Court, Hospital Badyal Road, Hanuman Mandir Chowk it culminated at historic Old Bazaar.
On the occasion “Shastra Pujan” (weapon worship) was also performed by religious heads before the start of the route march.
About 2000 RSS volunteers dressed in Sangh Uniform participated in route march at Reasi. The full dress march was taken out from Parade Ground Reasi by the activists of Sangh covering the entire town. The route march passed through Bus Stand, Nai Basti, Old Bazar, Main Bazar, Ganesh Mandir Chowk and culminated at Parade Ground later. The volunteers were welcomed at various places by people of the town.
In his Ganvesh Seh Prant Pracharak, RSS, Rupesh Kumar stressed on strengthening of daily Shakas (drill) by motivating more and more younger generation to take part in it for self discipline and service to motherland. He said Sangh is role model for people as it lays foundation of a disciplined life which in turn can make nation strong. Minister of State, Ajay Nanda also participated in the Parade in full dress.
The route march was also taken by RSS volunteers in Doda town. The rally started from Ramleela Ground Tondwah and covering main markets of Doda town including Nagri road, Bus Stand, Old Hospital, Dak Bungalow it culminated back at Ramleela Ground. The BJP activists also participated in the rally.
The RSS Path Sanchalan was also taken out in Bani township of Kathua district in which a large number of Sangh activists took part in full dress full dress route march.
