RSS for proper focus to tourism, healthcare, education sectors in Jammu region

Bhaiya Ji Joshi launches Ram Janmabhoomi temple fund

JAMMU, Jan 14: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today made it clear that there should be no discrimination with any region of J&K UT post abrogation of Article 370 and every region should get its due attention in development and public welfare schemes.
This was stated by RSS Sarkarivah (national general secretary) Suresh Ji who is popularly called Bhaiya Ji Joshi while interacting with various leaders of Sangh and BJP on the last day of his four day tour to Jammu here today.
Taking serious exception that Jammu has not yet got the desired attention for promotion of tourism and development of tourist resorts to boost the local economy and help in employment generation, the RSS leader said in categorical terms that this practice should end once and for all now as there should be no complaints of discrimination and people of both the regions should be paid equal opportunities for their upliftment.
He stressed on giving more thrust to promotion of tourism, education and healthcare in Jammu region also as it has faced a neglect in the past to a great extent. The RSS leader also stressed on formulation of a blue print for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits to Valley so that they will remain connected with their roots and culture.
Meanwhile, under its nationwide campaign of collecting donations for construction of grand and magnificent Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Bhaiya Ji Joshi formally launched the Shri Ram Janambhoomi temple construction fund collection and Sampark Program in Jammu and Kashmir today. RSS’s Sarkarivah started the campaign from Valmiki Mohalla of Gandhi Nagar locality of Jammu city and urged for participation of people for the construction of the Shri Ram temple with their contribution and active participation.
Apart from Valmiki Mohalla, Bhaiya Ji Joshi also met Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Shri Sant Mela Singh Ji Technical Ashram at Digiana who also made contribution for the construction of Ram temple. In Jammu and Kashmir province, this campaign will continue from Makar Sankranti i.e. January 14 to Magh Purnima, February 27, 2021.
Speaking on the occasion Bhaiya Ji Joshi said it is not just a fund collection event, but a program to connect people and the society. He said that the cooperation and devotion of the society have ensured beginning of the construction of this grand temple of Sri Ram at Ayodhya which was the aspiration of millions of Hindus around the globe.
He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have also made a remarkable contribution in every Kar Seva of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi with their physical ,spiritual and monetary support and they did not lag behind from the people in other parts of the country. He said with the blessings of Shri Ram, the construction work of the grand temple in Ayodhya has started and large number of people have sacrificed themselves for the construction of this temple and hoped that this campaign would give impetus to the temple construction campaign.
Bhaiya Ji Joshi also appreciated and reminded the contribution and struggle of Sikh community in construction of this temple in Ayodhya from very beginning.
He reminded that an FIR report on 30 November 1858 in Ayodhya reads “Nihang Sikhs entered the disputed structure with flags and performed a havan there. The Nihang Sikhs not only performed havan and Puja there but also raised Shri Ram slogans there in the complex and there were more than 25 Sikhs who also wrote ‘Ram-Ram’ with charcoal on its walls.
On this occasion, Brigadier Suchet Singh, patron, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Fund Collection and Sampark Program, head of campaign in J&K, Abhishek Gupta, Mahanagar convenor Shakti Dutt and president of Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Parshotam Dadhichi were also present.
Today’s meetings were attended by RSS Seh Sarkarivah, Dr Manmohan Vaidya, Kshatriya Pracharak, Banwar Lal Ji, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, senior RSS leader and former Prant Pracharak J&K Arun Kumar and Prant Pracharak,J&K Rupesh Ji.
Later, the RSS leader left for Delhi in the evening winding up his four days tour of Jammu.
