JAMMU, Mar 19: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) convened a meeting of its sister organizations to brief them about the outcome of its recent National Executive meeting held at Panipat Haryana.
The meeting was chaired by RSS Prant Pracharak J&K Rupesh Kumar and the leaders of BJP, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Adivakta Parishad and other organizations participated in it. Dr Gautam Mengi, Sangchalak was also present in the meeting.
The Sangh leaders briefed the meeting about the resolution passed in the National Executive meet and decisions taken for future and how to intensify the working of Sangh and its sister organizations in the country.
The meeting gave stress on intensifying the activities of Sangh and other organizations in those areas where they have not reached so far and bringing more and more youth under its fold by imbibing the spirit of nationalism, patriotism and selfless service to nation among them. The Swayamsevaks were asked to take the public welfare programmes launched by Sangh in building a homogenous society to length and breadth of the country.
The steps taken for intensifying the activities of Sangh as well as increasing the number of Shakhas and bringing more and more youth into its fold were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, MP Lok Sabha, Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP president, Ravinder Raina, general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, national secretary, BJP, Dr Narinder Singh former Deputy Chief Ministers, Dr Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, BJP general secretary, Sunil Sharma, spokesperson, Ajay Bharti and other leaders. The VHP was represented by its working president, Rajesh Gupta. In addition to it the leaders of various other sister organisations of Sangh were present in the meeting.
