JAMMU, Feb 7: Maintaining that justice to all and appeasement to none is the hall mark of BJP and RSS programme, Senior RSS leader and patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) Indresh Kumar today said that both the organizations are working for upliftment and betterment of Muslim community in the country.
Addressing a function organized by MRM here today, Indresh Kumar said certain vested elements are misguiding and misleading Muslim youth in the country thereby trying to bring a bad name to the community. He said BJP and RSS have launched a campaign for the betterment of the community all over the country so that they can’t fall in trap of such elements.
He said besides, religious teachings, Muslim community needs proper education so that they can earn their livelihood, overcome poverty, hunger and become self reliant.
Keeping this motto in view the RSS and BJP has launched various programmes for the upliftment of Muslim community in the country by providing employment, education and housing facilities as well as a sense of security to them so that they can be self reliant and take pride in being the citizens of India.
Terming this a very good initiative on the part of RSS and BJP Indresh Kumar said these steps were taken to save the people of Muslim community from the appeasement policies of some political parties, due to which the condition of this community has become worst, especially during last some years. This fact has been revealed in the report of the Sachar Committee also, he added.
He said the MRM was framed with a motive to work for the upliftment of the Muslim community and it is working to achieve its goal by providing education to the Muslim children so that they can earn their livelihood respectfully and become good citizens of the country. Besides the Manch has launched many welfare schemes for their better future in this community, he added.
He alleged that some political parties thought that the people belonging to Muslim community are their personnel property and abused them since last many years. Due to the wrong policies of such parties, the some Muslim community members have been trapped in the hands of anti national forces and waiving of Pakistani flags by them in Kashmir was the result of same policies, he added.
Indresh Kumar said Jammu and Kashmir is a Muslim majority State but still a large number of people of this community believe that India is the best country for them and they can flourish like other communities in this country as well as in this State.
He said the days have gone and the political parties who were misleading and exploiting the Muslims of the country in general and J&K in particular can’t do so as they too have seen through their game plan. They have now come to know that these parties were doing the same for their personal benefits, he added.
Indresh Kumar said a true Muslim cannot be misled by these leaders as the Islam gives the message of peace and those who hamper peace can’t be true Muslims.
This is the right time to send the message to other countries, that India is a peaceful nation as entire world looks towards India as the only country where people of different religions are living peacefully.
In addition to these efforts, MRM is providing the education of Muslim children and recently launched many welfare schemes to make them self-sufficient. Meanwhile to provide food for all, their organization is going to start a food grain bank, so that no one could be left without food. The headquarters of this food grain bank is based in Pune. Some more grain banks will be started after the successful completion of the launch of first bank.
