NASHIK, Aug 22:
Thousands of devotees thronged Shirdi temple and collectively donated Rs 5.10 crore in cash and valuables during the four continuous holidays till Sunday.
The donation was counted yesterday and included 171 grams gold, 5.075 kg silver and other valuables. The cash included foreign currencies of 23 countries.
Filmstar Rani Mukherjee, who had come for darshan here yesterday, said she would love to reside in shirdi.
‘I will build bungalow on my plot in Shirdi and reside if Sai Baba gives permission,’ she said.
