JAMMU, July 30: BJP State president & MLA Jammu West Assembly Constituency Sat Sharma (C.A), along with Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, SHO Janipur Police Station Varinder Gupta and prominent leaders of the party, visited different areas in W.No. 36 of Janipur to take stock of the conditions as of now after the recent heavy rains and resultant floods, which have caused loss of lives and public properties.
Sat Sharma and Dy. Commissioner also visited the family of Ravi Sharma, the boy who succumbed to his injuries which he received in the recent heavy floods in Excelsior Lane of Janipur while rescuing two young girls. They conveyed their condolences to the family.
Sat Sharma, on this occasion, told the family that a compensation of rupees four lakh has been immediately sanctioned by the Government. He said that the similar amount has been handed over to the bereaved families of two girls, who lost their lives in the same locality three days back. Sat Sharma said that although we cannot bring back the lives of the deceased ones and neither can fill the vacuum created by their demise but can extend some sort of help, which can be beneficial to the poor families in particular as the same can help to such families whose bread earners are lost.
He informed that the compensation of Rs four lakh in favour of the family of Ravi Sharma has also been sanctioned by Government today.
Vijay Sharma, Subash Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Radhey Sham, Joginder Sharma, Yash Pal Mantoo, Raveesh Mengi, Ashish Sharma, Lalit Luthra, Balbir Singh, Onkar Singh Bose, J.D. Singh, Ramesh Khajuria, Vinod Gupta andAnkush Sharma also accompanied the MLA during his tour of W.No. 36.
