JAMMU : The troops of Border Security today recovered Rs 3,99,000 fake currency along the International Border in Ranbir Singh Pura Sector of Jammu.
“On information, BSF troops of Border Outpost Kharkola carried out searches close to International border in R S Pura sector and found two packets wrapped with yellow coloured tape and a packet of cigarette packet of Morvin coy,”official spokesman here said.
He said on unwrapping the packets, 399 notes of Fake Indian currency notes in the denomination of 1000 were found.
The Face value of the seized currency was Rs 3,99,000 while a FIR has been lodged in the R S Pura Police Station and investigations started. (AGENCIES)
