JAMMU, Jan 18: Under NABARD scheme, the former Minister and senior BJP leader, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar started the road work from Pounichack to Kharian via Khanpur which will connect many villages in the area.
This project costing Rs 2.50 crore will be very beneficial to all the surrounding villages, said the former Minister, adding that Modi Government is making all efforts to develop the rural India.
Sukhnandan assured that Modi’s vision is to make India a developed nation by 2047 when the country completes 100 years of independence.
“We will have to fulfil the resolve we took, the promises we made to the coming generation”, the senior BJP leader said urging all to intensify efforts. “The contribution of everyone is important to achieve the goal of being a developed country”, Sukhnandan said quoting PM Modi.
Sukhnandan asked the youth to connect as part of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign.
Drawing an analogy between the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Mahatma Gandhi’s Dandi March, he said: “Dandi March reignited the flame of independence while Amrit Kaal is turning out to be the resolution of the 75-year-old journey of India’s development”.
Sukhnandan said that during Modi Government India achieved many things– becoming one of the top five economies in the world, successfully landing Chandrayaan IIIrd, organising the G20 Summit and bagging more than 100 medals at the Asian Games.
