RRC sanctions Rs 27.80 lakh for water supply of Buta Nagar

JAMMU, Jan 9: Relief Commissioner, Migrants, T.K Bhat today visited Buta Nagar Migrant Camp and took stock of the problems faced by the camp residents. The people living in the camp apprised the Commissioner regarding the problem of irregular water supply to the camp due to which the camp is suffering from severe water scarcity for the past several months.
After listening to the grievances of the camp residents, RRCM along with Excutive, Engineer, AEE Jal Shakti Department, Rajnish Kapoor AD Planning visited the water Pumping Station at Muthi and discussed the problem with the concerned officials. The RRCM also announced a sanction of Rs 27.80 lakh to the concerned Department for upgrading the infrastructure required to lift the water at the Pumping Station so that the camp residents receive regular supply of water.
Ashok Dhar, Bitu Koul, Veer, M N Pandita, Hari Krishan Raina and others present in the meeting offered their heartfelt gratitude to the RRCM for addressing their grievances on the spot and complimented him for showing urgency regarding their grievances and expediting the work regarding the same.
