JAMMU, Dec 24: An outreach programme was organised at Subash Nagar by president of Welfare Society Tope Sherkhania, Sanjay Raina and his team members in which various Government Department agencies like Social Welfare, J&K Bank, Medical Department took part to inform about the Central Government Schemes meant for Kashmiri migrants.
The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr Arvind Karwani also participated in the camp and interacted with the migrants and listened their problems one to one.
The RRC assured the migrants that all their genuine issues will be solved. The people showed keen interest in the welfare schemes meant for migrants and urged the RRC that such camps be held from time to time. The RRC was accompanied by the team of officers from his organisation also.
On the occasion a free medical camp was also organised by the Society for the benefit of migrants in which people were examined for various ailments.
