UDHAMPUR, June 9: With an endeavour to extend medical aid in remote areas, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara organized a medical camp for the people residing in remote village Chaladh.
A total of 275 patients, including 118 women and 62 children from village Chaladh and surrounding areas availed the benefit of free medical treatment and free distribution of medicines.
Doctors and Nursing Assistants from the Army and civil administration provided treatment to all patients at the medical camp which was organized with the objective of providing medical attention to people from far flung areas and spread awareness on health related issues.
The villagers appreciated the efforts of the Army in their resolve towards healthy living of the villagers by bringing medical aid to the doorstep of people in remote areas.
