JAMMU, Sept 25: Regional Passport Office (RPO) Jammu in coordination with CID wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) today handed over the passport to the elderly parents of Jammu youth namely Navneet Singh, who was recently injured in a car crash at Sydney, Australia.
RPO Jammu handed over the passport to the elderly parents of Navneet within less than three days, so that they can meet their son, who is under treatment at Sydney after car crash.
While addressing a delegation of relatives of the victim including Navneet’s father Dalbir Singh and mother Iqbal Kour, Vimarsh Aryan, Regional Passport Officer said that despite the non-availability of open Tatkaal facilities for passport applicants in Jammu and Kashmir, all the urgent cases are processed on top priority. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) and CID authorities expeditiously processed such cases from their side.
