RAJOURI, Mar 9: Rotary Club Rajouri has once again come forward to save life of a minor child from a far flung area of district Rajouri as the club adopted Kartik Kumar of 4 years for open surgery in AIIMS Delhi bearing all the expenses of lakhs of rupees.
The child Kartik Kumar, son of Manohar Lal of Androlla is suffering from heart diseases since birth. The poor family approached Lokesh Bakshi, president Rotary Club Rajouri who immediately responded and adopted the child for open heart surgery thus giving life to the minor.
Lokesh while talking to media persons here in Rajouri on Saturday said that Rotary under its project `Gift of life’ sends minor child with heart ailment for surrey bearing all the expenses and Kartik is being sent by Rotary Club Rajouri for the same treatment in AIIMS Delhi.
While expressing his indebtedness towards Rotary, Manohar Lal, father of Kartik told media persons that they were unable to bear the expenses of surgery for the minor child.
Prominent Rotarions who send off the child, included KK Langar, Rakesh Gupta, Sanjay Puri, Amardeep Singh, Saboor Malik, Tanveer Choudhary, Sadik Khan and others.
