JAMMU, Oct 5: English speaking classes for students of Government Higher Secondary School, Chhatral were organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force from today, with the active co-operation of teachers and parents.
58 boys and 38 girls from the schools and surrounding areas are attending the English speaking classes, which started today and shall conclude on October 30, 2015 under an English tutor Sarfraz Ahmed.
The classes will go a long way in developing an interest amongst the educated youth to improve their English speaking skills. Emphasis was given on improvement of grammar, pronunciation and also building self confidence among the students to communicate in English.
The Headmaster, teachers and parents applauded the Army for their efforts to help the youth in their self development and growth. Such important initiatives by the army will help in career generation and skill development which is needed to bring in prosperity and development in the region.
