JAMMU, Apr 19: Continuing their work of honoring the front line Corona warriors, BJP Jammu West appreciated the works of media personnel belonging to various news agencies by appreciating their work and presented them letter of appreciation for their exemplary work in COVID-19 crisis.
Former State president BJP, Sat Sharma (CA) along with party leaders including district president, Munish Khajuria, Mandal presidents, Raveesh Mengi and Keshav Chopra, district general secretaries, Rajesh Gupta and Karan Sharma honored the media personnel and complimented them for their work and dedication towards serving the society.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that media is one of the pillars in a democracy and their role is equivalent to the works of other people who are fighting on the front line with this dangerous situation and their work should be hailed as they have to go to various places for covering news and reporting which puts their lives in extreme danger and without thinking about their lives.
He said these people are still in field and are providing us with the latest coverage and news. He said media fraternity, doctors, police, officials and staff of other departments, Safai Karamcharis, security guards, drivers and others involved in the front line deserve a grand salute for doing a great job in these tough times. He also appealed masses to stay at home and be safe.
Munish Khajuria also complimented the media persons and other front line Corona warriors and said that wherever required BJP is standing with the Corona warriors and whenever needed, every activist of the party will assist them in any work.
